It doesn't really differ much form just charging the whole pack normally and then bottom balancing, if this initial charging is something you feel you want to do. I don't think their recommendation to do it is really based on anything though. Besides they advocate a lot of stupid stuff anyway.jsantalahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13711677346363688402noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2065249958925006388.post-4266141570133552892014-04-24T10:51:53.750-07:002014-04-24T10:51:53.750-07:00No, what that does is that it top balances the cel...No, what that does is that it top balances the cells, which is exactly opposite of what we want to do, which is to bottom balance the cells.

If you did that you'd have to restart the whole bottom balancing process again.jsantalahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13711677346363688402noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2065249958925006388.post-3506847526160874452014-04-24T03:54:30.707-07:002014-04-24T03:54:30.707-07:00Have you thought about this parallel initial charg...Have you thought about this parallel initial charging, is it necessary? Although you probably don't have a laboratory power supply, and neither do I. I've tried to find one but they tend to cost a small fortune here in Finland.
http://gwl-power.tumblr.com/post/3297893710/the-charging-12-pcs-of-20ah-cells-the-initialMax Angelmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14681856429018873680noreply@blogger.com
